Amos Elkana <amose@actcom.co.il>

Hi!

My name is Amos Elkana. I am a composer from Israel.

My aim in writing this letter is to expose my music to musicians and audiences that under normal circumstances would not be exposed to it. I have found out that a direct contact between the composer and an ensemble could better lead to the possibility of performing oneÕs music. I have also found out that having oneÕs music published does not necessarily expose his music to prospective ensembles.

I have written music ranging from solo music to music for large orchestra. Although all of my works have been performed and recorded it frustrates me to see that a work hardly ever gets a second or third performance. I therefore maintain a homepage were you can find a list of compositions by me and other information as well. Please look it up at:

In case any of these works arouse your curiosity, please contact me and I would be happy to send you a score and/or a recording.

Thank you. Amos Elkana.

Joane Grubaugh <joaneg@grubaugh.com>

Thank you for your web page.  2 - piano music is so beautiful and not often heard.  My partner
and I will be presenting two concerts this year and we are very excited.  Are you familiar with Ned Rorem's
"Sicilienne"?  It is a very beautiful work (about 5 minutes in duration). I noticed you have done a Copland
work.  Have you ever looked at his "Danzon Cubanos"?  What a challenge - and a definate audience pleaser.
Best wishes to you both.

Eoin Beirne <ebeirne@wlrk.com>

Tony:  I was looking through the Branson web page and it led me to yours.  I hope that you amd Cathy are keeping well
and that the chorus hasn't killed you yet.  I think that we came  close a few times while I was there with Frank Lui, Brian
Tanenbaum and Willie Bronshfahg (SP?)  I am working for a law firm in NY and thoroughly enjoying myself.  We still plan to do
the INTO the WOODS reprisal in a few years - so keep some time free.  I hope to be home for a few days at Christmas and would
love to come by New House to say hi.

Fondest regards

Eoin

Wes Thompson <WTArchPhot@aol.com>

Non-urgent, but have you ever heard of a recorded performance of Smetna's
transcription/arrangement of several of Beethoven's overtures for 4 pianos/16 hands?
(Listed in the DeCapo catalog of composers & their works)

/* Can anyone help? /*

 Hallo Anthony!
What a grate suprise to stumble upon this site. I dont know if you remember me, but I was a
student at Music & Arts Instute of S.F. The singer from Sweden who used to hang out with Bruce you
know. Well it´s been a few years since then. I am working as a singer, mostly doing musicals here
in Sweden. The years in S.F. gave me so much, most of all I had fun. I am really intrested in
knowing what became of everybody at M.& A. Most of all I would like to find out where my old
friend Bruce is living. As I remember you two had good contact and maybee you still do.
You know I was checking out the conservatory site and WOW what a grate link I found.

Very Nice finding You
Janne Å.
