"The pianists loved their music, loved playing, and breathed together
so that phrasing often seemed to be the impulse of a single artist."
- Dan Koslov, The Advocate News, Fort Bragg, California

News
"Helen's Song has had many incarnations but the most unique is an arrangement by Bruce Cameron Munson for classical duo. It's performed by The Angelo Piano Duo on a CD titled (appropriately, I think) Helen' Song. Cathy and Tony Angelo have been champions of this format for sometime and have been pushing to do Helen's Song this way for many years. I'm really excited about this." - George Cables

Our CD, Helen's Song, features this arrangement of Helen's Song and includes works by Rachmaninoff, William Bolcom, Astor Piazzolla, a beautiful jazz ballad by Armenian composer Mikhail Kokzhaev, and a live recording of Mack Willberg's Fantasy on Themes from Bizet's Carmen for two pianos-eight hands with The Riga Piano Duo.

The 4th Milton and Peggy Salkind International Piano Duo Festival united duos from Canada, Italy, Japan, Switzerland and The United States to celebrate a Parisian Fete of piano duo music in Paris from 1870 to 1925. The Festival, presented from July 5 - 7 at The San Francisco Conservatory of Music, also celebrated Debussy's 150th anniversary as well as a Closing Concert of music and composers with a connection to 1812, 1912 and 2012.
